Microsoft windows 8 or 8.1 having many things, some things are excellent for us and some things are frustrating for use. Sky Drive synchronisation with cloud it will hang up working speed. When we do not use internet and sky drive will comes again and again it will disturb to us. It takes space on your laptop which is not necessary to you. Here my suggestion is for better performances for work just disable it and when you require again enable it. We can do by Group Policy Editor, this sounds like hard work for them who are not much technically, but it is very easy for non technically users also.
Here look below steps for how to do it
See video here
Step 1
You need to open “Group
Policy Editor” for that just go to Run
and type gpedit.msc and click on
OK.
Step 2
Now it will open Local Group Policy Editor Window. Navigate
to Computer Configuration/ Administrative
templates/ Windows Components / SkyDrive from left side column.
Step 3
Select
SkyDrive, You can see three options in Right side column. There double click on
the setting
Prevent
the usage of SkyDrive for file storage. Now check the radio button Enable and click Apply
then OK. For applying changes once restart your
computer or Laptop.
Step 4
For
bring back SkyDrive simply check the radio button Disable Restart required. From
removing it
from Tiled Modern UI Screen, simply right
click on the icon and click unpin from
start. for again pin
it to
screen you need to right click the program and select pin to start.
