Lock Screen Disable for Windows 8 or 8.1

Hello friends, today we are going to learn that how to disable lock screen for windows 8 /8.1. with the latest release of Microsoft windows 8 / 8.1 lot of features are included. One is lock screen also available in win 8. But it is not useful that much as other features, by disabling this feature we can save our precious time and escape from entering a password again and again. So finally we are going to Disable it with using method of Group Policy Editor by easy way.

Here follow below step to do this

Step 1

Login with administrator or standard user account on your computer or laptop.

Step 2

Go to Run and type gpedit.msc and click on OK. It will open a new window of Local Group Policy Editor.

Step 3

From left pane navigate to – Administrative Templates – Control Panel – Personalization.

Step 4

Here in the Right pane double click on Do not display the lock screen select radio button Enable  now click on Apply then OK. Close all windows and it is done you have disable lock screen feature.
