Hello dear friends, today we are going to learn how to enable hibernate option in windows 8. The work of hibernate option is it will shut down computer or laptop but saves all running processes and running applications then goes for shut down. And when we start computer again all application will be same available there which running mode. It saves power also and give rest to all hardware accessories like RAM, Processor, HDD and motherboard that means saving of money and time. But this option is not available by default in windows 8 or later versions, we need to enable this.
Here follow below simple steps to do it.
Step 1
Go to control panel by typing control in Run and click
on OK. it will open control panel
window.
Step 2
Now click on Power
Options and open it. From left side pane you can see option Choose what the power buttons do. Click
on it.
Step 3
Here you can see option Change
settings that are currently unavailable, click on it. Come to ending of
this page you can find Shutdown setting below
this just check the box Sleep and Hibernate. Now close all windows and
make sure go to charms bar settings and
click on Power you can see Hibernate
option is available now there.
For Disable it just Uncheck the box Sleep and Hibernate.
